“Wooden People”

The "Wooden People" sculpture installation was unveiled in the lobby of the Finnish Parliament House Annex in 2006. The work is the result of a competition victory. It consists of 11 portraits carved with an axe. The "Wooden People" artwork depicts the Finnish people from a poet to a robber, from a beauty queen to a ministerial.
